Who We Are
Thone Pan Hla is a peer led network of over 5000 migrant and non-migrant women garment workers who support each other to advance themselves, families and communities. Thone Pan Hla’s comprehensive and relevant services are provided at two Thone Pan Hla Centers/Hostels (Hlaing Thayer and Shwe Pyi Tar) on Sundays at Thone Pan Hla Sunday Café and public holiday events. Sunday Café ‘take home message’ is shared to coworkers during the week by SMS texting and social media.
Thone Pan Hla services provide women garment workers a lattice to advance and a safety net if a stumble.
